  1. I'm sure I've bored everyone with this before, but the 1927 Newbery Medal winner was written by my great-grandfather, Charles J. Finger. I read one of the stories on Forgotten Classics for my first episode. Not necessarily the easiest stories to read. I find the style a bit difficult. But we all had copies of the book as kids because it was part of our family heritage. :-)
